KZN shop owner killed during alleged robbery

A man was shot several times and killed while closing his business in Richards Bay.

A shop owner was fatally shot during an apparent armed robbery while closing his business in Aquadene last night (July 27), reports Zululand Observer.

The incident is believed to have occurred at around 10pm as the man was locking up his store.

Reports indicate he was confronted by two armed suspects, who allegedly shot him several times at close range before fleeing the scene.

The victim was rushed to the Nseleni Clinic, where he was declared dead.
