Emergency services confirm that a light aircraft crash near Lanseria International Airport leaves one dead and one injured.

A light aircraft crashed yesterday shortly after take-off from Lanseria International Airport in Gauteng, leaving one person dead and another injured.

Krugersdorp News reports this is according to Sterkfontein Emergency Medical Services station commander André Raijmakers.

He said the light aircraft crashed in the Kalkheuvel Agricultural Holdings area near the Lion Park at the North West border.
