Shots were fired at the owner of the company that provides security services to the Greater Tzaneen Municipality.
Limpopo police are looking for the suspects who shot a 65-year-old security boss from Nkowankowa on the premises of the Greater Tzaneen Municipality’s (GTM) offices in Agatha Street, on Monday.
The victim, George Baloyi, the owner of George B Security, offers security services to the GTM. He parked his car in front of the GTM library when two men in balaclavas forcefully opened his car door and pointed a gun at him asking for money. The men started to shoot at him injuring his right shoulder.
Unconfirmed reports also state that Baloyi had just withdrawn a huge sum of money at the bank before he was attacked. It is alleged that he has been shot three times. He was transported to a nearby medical facility where he received medical attention.
