Midrand plane crash: 2 injured
Authories have launched an investigation into the cause of a light aircraft in Randjesfontein.
Two occupants sustained injuries after a light aircraft crashed into a business complex in Randjesfontein, Midrand, yesterday (September 8).
According to the Midrand Reporter, the aircraft crashed along Old Pretoria Main Road (R101) and New Road.

Joburg EMS spokesperson Kagiso Phasha confirmed the incident, stating that private ambulance services were treating the injured occupants at the scene.
“There is a light aircraft crash into a business complex in Randjesfontein on Old Pretoria Main Road (R101) and New Road. At this stage, two occupants have sustained injuries,” said Phasha.
He added that Grand Central Fire and Rescue Services and the South African Police Service were also in attendance.
“Relevant authorities will be investigating the crash.”
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear.
