Missing man returns home alive after psychic allegedly told family he was murdered

After seven months of searching for their missing son, a KZN family was left searching mortuaries for his remains following an alleged prediction by a psychic.

A KZN family’s search for their missing son took an unexpected turn when the 40-year-old man returned home alive after a psychic had allegedly told them he had been murdered.

Ashley Ramchurran, a separated father of one from eThekwini, had been missing since April 2026, reports The Witness.

According to Reaction Unit South Africa (Rusa), his family reported him missing and appeals for information about his whereabouts were circulated on social media.

After months without any sign of him, his family reportedly consulted two psychics in the hope of finding answers.

One of the psychics allegedly told Ramchurran’s mother and stepfather that he had been murdered over a financial dispute involving money he supposedly owed other people.

The family reportedly believed the prediction and began searching for his remains at various locations, including mortuaries.

However, Ramchurran reportedly returned to the family home a few days ago, bringing an unexpected end to the search.

Rusa said it was subsequently established that he had been staying elsewhere. The reasons for his disappearance and his whereabouts during the seven months remain unclear.

The circumstances surrounding his disappearance have not been confirmed.
