Mpumalanga: Man accused of killing Sam Holdings manager remanded in custody

The case was postponed to December 10 for further investigation.

26-year-old Phindokuhle Eugene Nkosi is facing a murder charge following the death of Sam Holdings’ general manager, Nkosinathi Emmanuel Ngcongo.

The accused appeared in the Bethal Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, Mpumalanga News reports.

It is alleged that two men were seen entering Sam “Mshengu” Chabalala’s depot where Ngcongo was employed on September 12.

One of the suspects produced a firearm, shot Ngcongco and disappeared. Later on the same night, the investigation led to the arrest of Nkosi.

He was remanded in custody while investigations continue.
