N3 closed as trucks collide on Van Reenen’s Pass
Motorists are advised that there will be delays until the scene is cleared
Two trucks collided early this morning (November 16) on the N3 at Van Reenen’s Pass.
The crash was a head-on collision which caused the entire N3 to be closed.
There was no spillage on the road, as both trucks had containers on them.
Two people sustained injuries and were stabilised by paramedics.
The northbound lane is currently closed and traffic is travelling contraflow in the southbound lane.
Motorists are advised that there will be delays in traffic at Van Reenen’s Pass until the scene is cleared.
