Watch: Person freed from rubble after 29 hours
A miracle was celebrated amid overwhelming tragedy when a survivor was rescued just after 19:00 tonight.
A successful rescue operation at the disaster site in Victoria Street in George resulted in another survivor being pulled from the rubble of a four-storey building that collapsed yesterday.
The cries of joy are testimony to 29 hours of hard work to free the trapped construction workers.
Seventy-five people were on-site at the time of the disaster. Forty-six people are still unaccounted for.
