Reward offered for info after Pretoria ambulance service vehicles petrol-bombed
A look-out for a white Renault Clio – thought to be involved in the attack – has been issued.
Well-known Pretoria paramedic service is offering a reward for information after a petrol-bomb attack that took place at its premises in Mountain View on Friday evening.
Best Care and Ambu-Link emergency medical services staffers on the premises had to extinguish a petrol-bomb fire after two men had hurled it over the fence at the vehicles.
All this was caught on camera and Best Care spokesperson Xander Loubser said he was working with private investigators to get to the bottom of the matter.
“We can confirm that the suspects were travelling in a white Renault Clio,” Loubser said.
“A cash reward will be given for any valuable information where we can trace those responsible,” he said.
Loubser said the white Renault Clio was spotted in the area at 20:26, travelling along Van Rensburg Street, making a U-Turn after the attack.
“Three minutes later it was seen on Denyssen Avenue, travelling west with its hazard signals on.”
Anyone with camera footage may contact Loubser on 082-308-8259.
A case has since been opened with the police who were unavailable for comment.
