Speedster arrested after clocking 234km/h on the N1 South in Limpopo

A case of reckless driving has been opened after the driver of a luxury sedan was stopped by provincial traffic police for speeding.

The Limpopo traffic chief director, Jane Mulaudzi, has commended law enforcement officers for arresting a speedster on the N1 South.

The man, who was driving a luxury sedan, was caught driving at a speed on 234km/h in a 120km/h zone near Modimolle. He was arrested by Limpopo traffic police after he was stopped near an Engen garage.

Mulaudzi called on motorists to adhere to the rules of the road and to avoid causing collisions.

“Limpopo has deployed teams of law enforcement officers on all major roads to ensure the safety of all motorists,” Mulaudzi says.
