Taxi driver and passenger shot dead in KZN

The double murder is possibly linked to taxi violence.

Two people were shot and killed on the R103 near the Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) offices in KZN last night.

A driver linked to the Klipriver Taxi Association and a female passenger were both confirmed dead at the scene.

While unconfirmed, it is believed that the double murder could be linked to taxi violence in the area.

Ladysmith SAPS, RTI, emergency services and public safety responded to the scene.
