As of August 27, the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases identified in SA was 2 747 018, with 12 045 new cases reported. A further 361 deaths brought the total number of deaths to 81 187. The total number of recoveries was 2 498 429 and 11 924 972 vaccines had been administered.
