Two caught allegedly having sex in a car
Two people have been caught allegedly having sex in the backseat of a parked car before attempting to bribe police officers in Marlboro Grounds, Johannesburg.
Cluster police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela said police officers were patrolling recently when they noticed a black VW Golf parked on a busy road with its lights off, Alex Newsreported.
“Upon arrival, police allegedly found two 21-year-olds, both naked, having sex on the backseat of the car and in full view of passing pedestrians.
“The male suspect is said to have produced R50 and allegedly attempted to bribe the officer. Both suspects were arrested and will soon appear in the Alexandra Magistrates’ Court soon facing charges of public indecency and indecent exposure, added Maphakela.
He said a charge of bribery has been added for the male suspect for allegedly trying to bribe the officer with a R50 note.
Last month, a case of public indecency and having sex in public was opened after a Pretoria woman was mistaken for a prostitute while talking to her husband in their car.
Policemen accused the woman, Charlene Stoker of being a prostitute, sprayed her husband – a police officer – with pepper spray and later assaulted him in the Sunnyside police holding cells. They flatly ignored Stoker’s protestations that she had done nothing wrong and she was forced to drive to the police station with three policemen in her car.
