A factory explosion in Rosslyn has left two dead and two others injured, prompting road closures as emergency services respond.
Emergency services are on-site following a deadly explosion at a factory in Rosslyn, Pretoria, which has left two people dead and several others injured.
Pretoria Rekord reports that two individuals have been declared dead, while two others are in critical condition, according to reliable sources at the scene.
Rosslyn Road was closed for traffic for a helicopter to land. “The critically injured patients will be airlifted to a nearby hospital.”
The explosion is believed to have occurred just after 12:00.
The public and motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.
The factory is believed to be a recycling facility.
