In the video, a man is seen tampering with the electric gate, which he quickly managed to open,Brakpan Herald reported.

Another man then enters the garden and attempts to disable a CCTV camera in the corner of the property.

The man is seen followed by two other men, one of whom is covering his face with a gloved hand.

One of the men then moves the camera from its position.

It is believed the male resident, aged 41, was home alone when the robbers entered his house at about 10am last Sunday.

The resident allegedly went to investigate a noise he had heard in the dining room when he saw three men, one of whom was armed with a gun.

The resident reportedly shouted at the suspects, and the armed man pointed the weapon at him.

The resident fled to a room, where he locked and barricaded the door with furniture.

The robbers allegedly fled the house with a television set.

In a separate incident, a gang of burglars was caught on camera stealing goods from a Sunward Park home in Boksburg, Gauteng, last week.
