WATCH: Charred body found in Evander, Mpumalanga
Post mortem and DNA tests are yet to confirm the identity of the deceased.
Police have found a body in a pipe behind the nr 5 shaft of Evander Gold Mine and police are suspecting foul play in the missing person case in Evander, Ridge Times reports.
The two suspects have been remanded in custody and will appear in the Evander Magistrate’s Court today Monday, 6 August.
A third suspect is still at large.
Police suspect it is the remains of Mr Mervin van Heerden, however, post mortem and DNA tests are yet to confirm the identity of the deceased.
