Residents and visitors are again urged to exercise extreme caution after a crocodile was spotted at the Small Craft Harbour in front of the hotel in Richards Bay.

While bathing is prohibited at the harbour, the wild animal was sighted lurking in the popular recreational spot where many local residents and out-of-town visitors revel.

A crocodile was also spotted in this area in September.

ZO UPDATE | RESIDENTS are once again being warned to exercise extreme caution at the Small Craft Harbour amid sightings of a crocodile near the hotel and, on some occasions, at Naval Island.
