Watch: Laerskool Nelspruit show their support of the Springboks

Is your school backing the Boks in their quest for 2023 Rugby World Cup glory? Then show them by taking part in this challenge!

Bok fever has hit the Grade 7 learners of Laerskool Nelspruit! They have accepted Caxton Local Media’s TikTok challenge in support of the men in green and gold.

The first school to publicly get behind the Springboks was Jeppe High School for Boys in Johannesburg, and now the primary scholars from Mbombela have sung their war cry too – with a few choreographed moves.

Although Laerskool Nelspruit called on Laerskool Bergland to showcase their Bok-gees, the challenge is on for all South African schools to rally behind the Springboks as they take on the world in defence of their Rugby World Cup title.

“Words of support are wonderful, but what speaks louder than action?” asks Caxton Local Media group editor Irma Green.

“Gather your learners and show your spirit – for your school’s unity, the Bokke, and your country. Together we are stronger, so join us in getting behind our national team.”

Accept the challenge

It’s easy to become part of the challenge. Simply publish a version of your school’s war cry on Tiktok and other social media platforms, and remember to include #StrongerTogether, #Caxton4Bokke and your school’s hashtags.
