Weather forecast warns of localised flooding in KZN
The South African Weather Service has issued an impact-based warning rated at Level 2 for KZN and Zululand areas.
The South African Weather Service has issued an impact-based warning rated at Level 2 for KwaZulu-Natal and Zululand areas, including KwaDukuza, Mandeni, Mthonjaneni, Nkandla and uMhlathuze.
This means localised flooding is expected to affect formal/informal settlements and bridges.
Difficult driving conditions can be expected on especially dirt roads. Poor visibility and slippery roads are likely to result in accidents, so motorists are expected to proceed with caution.
Pedestrians are advised to avoid crossing strong-running, swollen rivers and streams, while in rural areas animals should be relocated to higher ground.
Rainfall around the province is expected to be 25-45mm over the next two days.
