Woman killed in Joburg CBD
A woman, believed to be a lawyer, was gunned down in full view of the public while walking to a meeting in central Johannesburg.
A woman was shot and killed near the corner of Fox and Joubert streets in the Johannesburg CBD this morning.
The victim is believed to be a lawyer.
A spokesperson for Vision Tactical, who did not want to be named, said the woman had parked her car in a bay and was walking to a meeting at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration when she was fatally shot.
“She was shot in full view of the public,” the spokesperson said.
SAPS was approached for comment, but none was received at the time of publishing.
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
