The N Vision 74 concept first captured the automotive world’s attention when it was revealed in July 2022, with its blend of retro-inspired design and future-focused technology. Since then, enthusiasts and industry insiders have speculated about its production potential.

Hyundai has now put these rumours to rest, confirming at its 2024 CEO Investor Day (where the South Korean company outlined its goal to introduce 21 new models – spanning across its Hyundai, Genesis and N brands – by 2030) that the concept will, indeed, go into production.

Details regarding the vehicle’s powertrain remain under wraps. However, it’s expected that Hyundai might retain the concept’s 498kW hydrogen fuel-cell setup, or possibly (and rather likely) transition to a fully electric drivetrain.

Although the exact production timeline has not been disclosed, Hyundai has indicated that the car will be available before 2030. According to a report from The Korean Car Blog, production is likely to commence in 2026, with the model being produced in limited numbers. Estimates suggest that only 200 units might be built, making it a rare and highly sought-after vehicle.

While the wait may be long, Hyundai’s commitment to bringing the N Vision 74 to life is now certain, and we anticipate the production model will stay true to the concept’s striking design, blending retro charm with modern performance.
