Volkswagen expands T-Cross range and refreshes the Golf

Volkswagen has expanded its popular T-Cross SUV line-up with two new entry-level derivatives while also unveiling a refreshed Golf with enhanced technology and design.

Volkswagen has strengthened its T-Cross offering with the introduction of two new base models: the 1.0 TSI 70kW manual and the 1.0 TSI 85kW DSG.

These additions provide greater accessibility and choice for customers seeking a stylish and versatile compact SUV.

The 70kW manual variant offers a compelling entry point, featuring essential features such as an eight-inch digital cockpit, App-Connect and air conditioning. The 85kW DSG model enhances the driving experience with LED headlights, a seven-speed DSG transmission, and advanced safety features like electronic stability control and driver attention assist.

Pricing for the new T-Cross models is as follows:

· T-Cross 1.0 TSI 70kW Base: R400 700

· T-Cross 1.0 TSI 85kW Base DSG: R418 200

All T-Cross models come standard with a three-year/120 000km warranty, a three-year/45 000km service plan, and a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty.

Refreshed Volkswagen Golf

The refreshed Golf features a sharper design with revised front and rear ends, including distinctive LED headlights with an illuminated Volkswagen logo. Inside, the Golf boasts a next-generation infotainment system with a more intuitive interface and a 12.9-inch touchscreen.

The Golf is available in four equipment lines: the Life, Life+, R-Line and R-Line+. The entry-level Life model offers a good balance of style and technology, while the R-Line and R-Line+ models cater to those seeking a more dynamic and sporty driving experience with features like sports suspension, leather seats and advanced driver assistance systems.

The refreshed Golf is powered by a 1.4 TSI 110kW engine mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission, delivering strong performance and efficiency.

Pricing for the Golf 1.4 TSI 110kW Tiptronic Life starts at R580 000.
