Jeep® Avenger 4xe: A true 4×4 game-changer?
Jeep's new Avenger 4xe blends off-road capability with innovative hybrid technology. See the design story behind this potential game-changer.

Jeep® is unveiling the creation of its Avenger 4xe through a four-part video series, revealing the blend of real-world demands and design passion that shaped this B-SUV. The series explores how the Jeep Europe design team’s diverse experiences and passion for adventure translated into the Avenger 4xe’s design.
Designers from various backgrounds, including Mexico, France, Korea, Ireland, Italy and Switzerland, share their insights. Their aim: to create a vehicle that balances striking aesthetics with practical functionality for both adventure and daily use. The team’s experiences in off-roading and nature inspired the Avenger 4xe’s key features.
Practicality meets adventure in features like a rear tow hook, roof rails, and interiors designed for durability. Robust, washable, and waterproof materials ensure the vehicle withstands diverse conditions. The Avenger 4xe boasts a Selec-Terrain system, anti-scratch bumpers, a matte hood sticker, and enhanced technical angles, ensuring confident performance on and off-road.
“Designing the Avenger 4xe was about practicality and versatility,” says Daniele Calonaci, head of Jeep design Europe. “Every detail reflects our passion for adventure and commitment to electrified capability.”

The Avenger 4xe integrates Jeep’s rugged legacy with an advanced all-wheel-drive hybrid powertrain. A 48V hybrid system, featuring a 1.2-litre turbo engine (102kW) and dual 21kW electric motors, powers the vehicle. The intelligent AWD system, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, allows for full-electric operation at low speeds.
The powertrain delivers a top speed of 194km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 9.5 seconds, promising an engaging driving experience.
