Porsche unveils bespoke 911 Carrera T Formosa
Porsche’s Sonderwunsch programme has revealed the 911 Carrera T Formosa, a bespoke model inspired by Taiwan’s mountains, coastlines and rock formations.
Porsche’s Sonderwunsch bespoke division has unveiled the 911 Carrera T Formosa (‘beautiful island’), a unique model paying tribute to Taiwan’s natural landscapes.
This special-commissioned 911 Carrera T features a model-specific interior and exterior elements inspired by the island of Taiwan.
The 911 Carrera T Formosa is finished in Porsche’s Paint to Sample Ipanema Blue Metallic, contrasted by Suzuka Grey Metallic details on the rear lettering, side window trim and engine lid slats. The Formosa rides on a set of 20-inch front and 21-inch rear RS Spyder wheels, finished in matching Suzuka Grey Metallic and Vanadium Grey Metallic.
Inside, the full bucket seats are upholstered in Truffle Brown and Black leather, replete with Night Green contrast stitching. The model-specific ‘Formosa’ chequered pattern in Night Green, Black and Cream White can be found on the seat inserts and in the fully leather-lined luggage compartment, finished with embroidered ‘Formosa’ lettering. The door sills feature illuminated ‘Formosa x Sonderwunsch’ lettering, and the headrests feature the embossed ‘Formosa’ logo, accompanied by a silhouette of the 911 Carrera, as well as ocean waves and mountain peak motifs. ‘Porsche Sonderwunsch’ lettering is also embossed into the centre armrest between the front seats.
As a reminder, the Porsche 911 Carrera T is powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine, producing 290kW and 450N.m, delivered to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. Porsche claims the Carrera T completes the 0-100km/h sprint in 4.5 seconds, before topping out at 295km/h.
