Classic Rock Project – Café Barcelona
CRP was formed as an initiative from Andries Burger – organizer of the annual STRAB rock festival in Mozambique.
The band plays hit songs from the 70′s 80′s and 90′s and aims to rekindle those old favorites upon which so much of today’s music are based.
The show takes place on Friday night 17 July 2015 at 20:30 and R60 will get you in.

Wag a Walk – Smuts House, Irene
Go support the Tshwane SPCA for an early morning walk at one’s own leisure with or without your socialised dog(s) on Saturday 18 July 2015.
Registration is from 07:30 till 09:00 and the lucky draw is at 09:30. There will be a photographer to capture all smiles and wagging tails, pet products on sale, microchipping available and a collection area for donations of dry/tinned dog/cat food.
Entry is R20.00 per person (children included) and a special rate of R10.00 per dog!

Copperleaf Food and Wine Fare – The Els Club, Copperleaf
The Copperleaf Food and Wine fare is set to be one of the most exciting events this year.
Showcasing gourmet food, South Africa’s best wine, craft beer and live music with Copperleaf GC beautiful scenery as the backdrop.
The fare takes place on Saturday 18 July 2015 and starts at 10:00.

Opera Gala 2015 – Gauteng Philharmonic Orchestra
The Gauteng Philharmonic Orchestra is now in its second year of existence and has received high acclaim for it accessible programmes and fabulous musicianship.
The very enjoyable Opera Gala which took place in 2014 is now being followed up with another one of Willem Vogel’s stylish compilations of famous arias, duets and quartets.
The 2015 Opera Gala takes place in the middle of the rehearsal period for the Carmen production at Brooklyn Theatre. It has been planned thus in order to use the soloists for this year’s Opera Gala.
The Gala will take place at the Brooklyn Theatre on Sunday 19 July 2015 and starts at 15:00. Tickets sell at R310 per person.
