Irene Half Marathon ignites excitement
Irene in Centurion was abuzz on Saturday morning with the popular Denel Half Marathon taking place.

A half-marathon and 10km run in Irene on Saturday morning created some excitement among runners on social media.
The 10km and 21.1km races started at 06:00 and was organised by the Denel Athetics Club. It took place at the Denel Irene Campus.
The race difficulty rating was moderate, but it could be described as a well-balanced route, according to the Runners Guide website.
Families, friends and co-runners ran through parts of Nelmapius Drive in Irene, through Eco Park and Highveld Park.
