Wildlife and Wine Affair is around the corner
The first Wildlife and Wine Affair will take place at the Leriba Hotel and Spa in Centurion this weekend.
There are only a few days to go before the Leriba Hotel and Spa in Centurion hosts its first Wildlife and Wine Affair.
Twenty game farms will showcase their services, including hunting and ecotourism, at the event on Saturday and Sunday.
Guests will wash down the experience with wine from 20 award-winning farms.
Leriba chief operations officer and owner Peet du Preez said the event would not only be about treating Pretoria residents and other guests to a variety of venison and wine but also to raise awareness about nature.
“The event will promote a conversation regarding nature and SANParks will give a lecture on wildlife,” said Du Preez.
He said friends and family could get together, relax and enjoy wine and various delicious traditional venison dishes in the hotel’s garden.
Organisers are planning to host the affair annually.
Leriba is already home to various family events such as the Harvest Festival and Family Cycle Race.
