Man killed, dog survives following car crash
The cause of the accident will form part of police investigation.

A man was killed in an accident in the Moot, Pretoria early on Tuesday.
The man with his dog in the car when the crash occurred on the corner of Wesley Road and Stead Avenue in Queenswood.
Netcare911, Life Med ambulance services and Kilnerark Security responded to the accident scene around 02:20am, Rekord Moot reported.
The car had crashed into a tree.
“At the time of the accident, the driver was with his dog. Fortunately the dog survived and was taken to a local vet,” said spokesperson for Netcare 911, Athlenda Mathe.
“Sadly the man was declared dead on the scene.”
The cause of the accident will form part of a police investigation.
