Man found dead in vehicle

A man believed to be in his 30s has died after he was found with a gunshot wound in his vehicle on the corner of Grosvenor and Park streets in Hatfield, Pretoria on Friday.
Media liaison officer for Netcare 911 Athlenda Mathe said that when paramedics arrived on the scene, the man was found slumped in the driver’s seat unresponsive, Rekord East reported.

Netcare 911 had three advanced life support paramedics on the scene.
“Paramedics began initiating CPR and this went on for some time.”
Mathe said: “Sadly, there was nothing more that could be done for the man. He was declared dead on the scene.”
