As the cost-of-living crisis continues, LookSee wants to know more about how South Africans manage their homes and electricity costs.

South Africans are feeling the squeeze of the cost-of-living crisis in South Africa, with electricity tariff hikes from both Eskom and municipalities earlier this year adding even more strain.

This has led to many households looking at new ways to save money and increase energy efficiency.

Take the survey and stand a chance to win R3 000

That’s why Standard Bank’s home efficiency platform, LookSee, has launched a survey to better understand how South Africans manage their homes and electricity costs.

To gain this insight, it has developed a survey about home efficiency.

By completing this survey, The Citizen’s readers stand a chance to win a R3 000 instant money voucher from Standard Bank.

The survey includes general questions on your electricity usage, how much it costs you every month and your interest in solar energy, among other questions.

Once you have submitted your answers, you will automatically be entered in the competition.

Please note: By completing this survey, you are sharing your details with Standard Bank, LookSee for the purposes of being entered into the competition so that you can be contacted if you are a winner. Signing up to the LookSee newsletter is not required for entry into the competition.

The closing date of the competition is at midnight on 22 September 2025 and the winner will be contacted directly by email.
