WATCH: Husband tries to mow down wife with family car after she demands divorce

This is the horrific moment a spurned husband deliberately tried to mow down his wife after she told him she wanted a divorce.
The shocking incident was captured on camera in the city of Khabarovsk, Eastern Russia.
It’s understood that the married couple had been arguing inside the car when things got heated, and the woman told her husband she wanted a divorce.
The enraged husband performed an aggressive u-turn as his wife climbed out of the car and crossed the street.
She was knocked down as the car drove up the pavement and crashed into a tree.
After the attack, the woman got up unsteadily and tried to hobble away as onlookers called an ambulance and the police.
The woman is understood to have suffered only bruising.
Police are investigating and it is not yet known whether the man will be arrested or charged.
