The impeachment committee can now start investigating the Phala Phala theft
The National Assembly on Tuesday adopted the rules that the impeachment committee will use to investigate allegations against President Cyril Ramaphosa concerning the theft of foreign currency at his Phala Phala farm.
This means the impeachment committee can now begin its work.
It also comes despite National Assembly Speaker Thoko Didiza deciding not to oppose Ramaphosa’s bid to halt the impeachment proceedings.
