Zimbabwe’s health crisis signals dangers for NHI
Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe greets the crowd during his 93rd Birthday celebrations in Matopos.
President Mugabe has been trending since this morning for his comment at the World Economic Forum in Durban on Thursday, May 4. During his speech at the WEF, he said Zimbabwe is one of the most developed countries on the continent after South Africa.
“After SA, I want to know which country has the level of development we see in Zimbabwe?”
“They don’t talk of Zimbabwe as a fragile economic state. Yes, we have our problems, but certainly we have achieved,” he said.
Twitter responded to his remarks in customary Twitter style: memes.
