Two suspects arrested with 40 used tablets and cellphones

The suspects have been detained at Sandton Police Station.


Two suspects were arrested by metro police near the M1 South Marlboro off-ramp in Johannesburg, Sandton Chronicle reports.

According to Brigadier Egen Moodley, station commander at Sandton Police Station, the two suspects were arrested, and 40 used tablets and cellphones were recovered.

Moodley said: “The items were possibly taken from a robbery of a school in Tembisa. Lieutenant-Colonel Zwane is awaiting further information from the Tembisa Cluster.

“The two suspects will be detained at Sandton Police Station for possession of suspected stolen property and possession of housebreaking equipment.”
