ANCYL march brings KwaDukuza to a standstill

Thousands gathered to march on the department of education in protest against the poor matric results and the dismal state of schools in KZN.

The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) marched through the streets of KwaDukuza recently to protest against the poor 2016 matric results and what they perceive as the dismal state of schools in the district.

More than 4 000 people, including members of the ANCYL, Young Communist League (YCL) and predominantly children fetched from local schools on the first day of the school year, marched on the district Department of Education to hand over their memorandum.
