New Echo Collective app connects businesses and public between Durban North and Ballito

A competition alongside the launch, where one winning entrepreneur will receive R450 000 worth of support from 20 participating businesses for a year.

The new locally-built Echo Collective app has been designed to seamlessly connect communities and businesses between Durban North and Ballito.

Officially launched in Umhlanga on Saturday evening, Echo Collective replaces the popular Ballito Official app and expands its offering both geographically and in terms of features.

“We now offer businesses a place to add photos, reviews and plenty more while connecting them directly with clients,” said founder Melanie Manson.

“For the public, you can keep up to date with events, the newest launches and some exciting business offerings in your community.”

Echo Collective is also running a competition alongside the launch, where one winning entrepreneur will receive R450 000 worth of support from 20 participating businesses for a year. The prize includes mentorship, office space, marketing support, professional photography and more.

“We want to promote the feeling of belonging to a community and this lucky entrepreneur will get exactly that,” said Manson.
