Arcis rolls out major infrastructure upgrades to Ballito

The road upgrades will include the widening of the M4 into Ballito northbound, expanding it from a two to a four-lane road starting 200 meters south of the Alberlito Hospital intersection all the way up to the Ballito Drive intersection.

Arcis, the residential developer responsible for launching Ballito Village residential lifestyle estate, will be installing new roads, water, and electrical infrastructure on behalf of the KwaDukuza municipality.

Work began on September 13, 2021 and is expected to be completed by February 2022.

The road upgrades will include the widening of the M4 into Ballito northbound, expanding it from a two to a four-lane road starting 200 meters south of the Alberlito Hospital intersection all the way up to the Ballito Drive intersection.

The planned road widening project will impact traffic over the construction period, however the short-term road expansion will greatly alleviate the backlog of traffic on the M4 during peak times, reducing congestion at the currently blocked intersection.

Further upgrades will include the extension of Douglas Crowe Drive into Moffat Drive, as well as extensive bulk electrical and water pipeline upgrades in the area.

Arcis is currently underway with the construction of its world-class lifestyle estate, Ballito Village.

The residential development includes direct access to Ashton International College and offers industry leading facilities providing an affordable entry point into the Ballito property market.

Ballito Village comprises 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments including garden apartments starting from R 1 049 000 (visit www.arcis.co.za to find out more).
