When the station closed, with renovations starting in mid-March, nobody knew exactly what lay in store for them when the station reopened in August. The wait was certainly worth it.

The best coffee and genuine Italian Gelato in town has seen drivers in their droves taking a sho’t left on their daily commute up Ballito Drive.

From a wide variety of competitive offers which may have you questioning why you’ve been shopping elsewhere, to now having access to the sweetest of delicious treats and even an assortment of health options for the discerning shopper in search of lunch – Shiptech has it all!

When doors closed, detailed planning went into creating a service which would not only rival others but also leave shoppers re-examining the concept of a fuel station convenience store.

Everest store manager, Cherise Kramer breaks it down for you.

“Everest, our in-store café, offers delicious, fresh, on-the-go meals made daily,” she says.

Everest also stocks Pangeli’s meals and sauces, and products from JuiceKitchen and the Delish Sisters.

What sets the store apart however, is that the convenience store is now a beautiful shopping experience.

“We offer products you need, and products which you didn’t even know you wanted.”

Their ultimate goal is to grow, support and supply the best from local South African artisans and farms.
