#BestofBallito: IPSS Medical Rescue, the first name in emergency response

The life-saving team earned their fourth consecutive Best of Ballito win.

IPSS Medical Rescue’s consistent dedication to excellence has made them synonymous with emergency response on the North Coast.

That same life-saving work ethic earned them two wins in this year’s Best of Ballito Readers’ Choice Awards, namely Best Ambulance and Best Emergency Service. It marks the fourth consecutive year that the company has been recognised in the awards by the community it so passionately serves.

“Thank you to everyone who has voted for and supported us, it is a privilege to be recognised by the community,” said IPSS Medical Rescue director, Dylan Meyrick.

Operating across the North Coast, IPSS Medical Rescue delivers advanced life support and seamless inter-facility transfer through its dynamic fleet of ambulances, rescue vehicles, aeromedical units and K9 search and rescue teams.

When you find yourself in a life-threatening situation, IPSS paramedics are often the first to arrive, a crucial difference when every second matters. They aim for a response time of between five and 15 minutes where possible.

Their 24/7 emergency contact centre is staffed by qualified medical professionals and their team boasts more than 460 years of combined experience.

The organisation is fully registered with the Department of Health and the Board of Healthcare Funders and has a 13-year record to prove its dedication to quality care.
