Baby bandanna challenge
The Sunflower Fund has launched its first Bandanna Baby and Toddler competition, which is running until October 12.
Parents can upload a head and shoulders photograph of their baby or toddler wearing the latest sunflower bandanna to the sunflower fund’s website and pay a fee of R50 to enter. The public will vote for their favourite bandanna baby or toddler and the picture that gets the most votes in each category will win some amazing prizes.
“We really wanted to ensure that the entire family, young and old, could show their support to all our leukaemia patients, many of whom are children. We launched the Bandanna Baby and Toddler Competition alongside our National Bandanna Day campaign to show support to our brave young patients who lose their hair during chemotherapy treatments,” said Sunflower Fund operations manager Tarryn Corlett-Boden.
All money raised will go towards recruiting more bone marrow stem cell donors for inclusion in the South African Bone Marrow Registry.
The 2013 sunflower bandanna comes in six different bright colours and can be bought from any Pick ‘n Pay store or Round Table representative nationwide.
