This is according to BMI-TechKnowledge’s Digital Lifestyle Research Programme.
The South African smartphone penetration is forecast to reach more than 83% of the over-16 population by 2019.
BMI-T interviewed 1500 participants and found out that Samsung was dominating the smartphone market in the country.
