Shaka’s Head pups spoilt for Christmas
Dogs vaccinated againt rabies and other diseases.
Christmas came early for many Shaka’s Head dog owners, when their pets were vaccinated against distemper, rabies and parvovirus on Saturday in a joint initiative between Sables Creative, Project Dog and the Specialised Rescue Unit.
The event took place at KwaMama Care Centre where the pets were also fed and dipped against fleas.
Founder of KwaMama Frieda Bontkowskyj thanked all the organisations and said it would make a huge difference in the lives of the domestic animals.
“Most of the people in the township cannot afford a vet, so the help that they got, made a huge difference,” said Bontkowskyj.
