The body of a 24-year-old male was recovered in the Umvoti River around 12.30pm on Friday afternoon.
A search was launched for the man earlier this morning.
“It is believed that the man went for a swim this morning and then drowned,” said IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst.
