Hazelmere Dam, the Ballito area’s main source of water supply, is currently 32.48 percent full.
No rain has been recorded in the catchment area over the last 24 hours and the area is in desperate need of good rain this summer to sustain the dam through next year’s winter.
Water restrictions are still in place and everyone needs to do their bit to keep the taps running.
