Three people dead as car bursts into flames in Umdloti
Only one passenger managed to get out of the burning car.
Three people died and three others were critically injured in a head on collision on the M4 north of Umdloti at about 2.30am on Sunday.
Paramedics reported that one of the cars caught on fire, killing three of the passengers.
Only one person managed to escape before the car burst into flames and is in a critical condition.
The elderly couple from Tongaat in the second vehicle were also critically injured.
The three injured people were taken to hospital and they are all in a stable condition.
