Holidaymaker suffers near drowning in Umdloti
The elderly man was rescued by lifeguards.
An elderly man from Johannesburg was rescued from a near drowning experience at Umdloti’s main beach on Monday morning.
Netcare911’s Chris Botha said the man was rescued by the lifeguards.
“He showed symptoms of near drowning and was transported to hospital,” said Botha.
