Protesters block N2 and R102 at Groutville
Police have cautioned the public to avoid the area.
The N2 and R102 have been closed due to possibly violent protesters blocking both roads at Groutville and the Umvoti toll plaza.
KwaDukuza SAPS station commander Mdumseni Nene advised the public to avoid these roads and take alternate routes.
The traffic backlog on the N2 goes back as far as half a kilometer south of Tinley Manor.
