N2 reopened at Groutville
Police say they will continue to monitor the protesters.
The police have removed the protesters from the N2 at Groutville and have reopened the highway and the link road between the N2 and the R102.
The service delivery protest that caused the N2 to be closed for six and a half hours yesterday at Groutville continued this morning as protesters regrouped on the N2.
KDM SAPS station commander, Col Mdumseni Nene said they are maintaining a heavy police presence on the N2 to keep order.
