Debate heavyweights off to India for English Odyssey
KwaDukuza municipality made the trip possible with a donation of R135 000 on Monday.
A ten-member team from Stanger High School will be jetting-off to the city of Lucknow, India for the 7th International English Odyssey (debate) on August 19.

KDM mayor, Ricardo Mthembu wished the team a safe trip and a happy stay in the city of Lucknow.
“We congratulate this team for the chance they got. This is an historic occasion and this is our way of re-affirming our commitment to improving the life of every boy and girl in our local schools,” said Mthembu.
The objective of Odyssey is to encourage students to draw on their resourcefulness in the vistas of English Literature and to persuade them to further explore their creative acumen in the true spirit of the Renaissance.
