Man killed in N2 Zinkwazi accident
One patient was declared dead on the scene while another is in a critical condition.
The N2 north is closed due to an accident in which the truck involved was carrying chemicals that caught alight.
The truck and a light motor vehicle cashed on the N2 north between Stanger and Zinkwazi at about 9pm this evening.
IPSS Medical Rescue paramedics arrived on scene to find the road in flames.
“One patient was ejected and declared dead on scene while another is in a critical condition being treated by IPSS Medical Rescue’s Advanced Life Support paramedic,” said IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst.
Paramedics are currently on scene treating a critically injured patient.
